World renowned anthropologist Margaret Mead studied societies past and present from all over the world. She contributed vastly to the understanding of human history. One of her most famous observations was
"Never Doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed people can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has."
Ms. Mead's belief is a cornerstone of the Community Development Watch philosophy and you are a critical part of our overall effort. Our towns are being paved over, our quiet streets are becoming gridlocked and our quiet communities are being transformed into an endless string of shopping malls and housing developments.
If you are as concerned as we are about these developments, Please join us. Individually we are a weak voice. Collectively, we can protect the features of our towns that drew us to them in the first place.
